Juan Velayos, CEO of Neinor Homes, received the award for 'Management of the first great real estate developer in the new cycle' yesterday from the Su Vivienda housing supplement in El Mundo newspaper, celebrating its 20^th anniversary.

In his speech accepting this honour recognising "successful management" of a company that has led the new real estate cycle, Juan Velayos said that this recognition further strengthens the company's commitment to leading a transformation in the sector in Spain. "Now more than ever it is time to demonstrate the commitment and responsibility of Neinor Homes," he highlighted.

"Neinor Homes must live up to the trust so many people have put in us and we'll do so by working with the same ingredients we've always used: drive, humility, professionalism and talent," he added.

Francisco Rosell, editor-in-chief of El Mundo, and Luis Martín de Ciria, editor of Su Vivienda, welcomed the guests to the event, which included some of the most noteworthy figures from the real estate sector and renowned architects.

Cristina de Rojas, host and editor at El Mundo, led the event, which also recognised: Pryconsa and Gilmar, for their history in the business; Concha Osácar, founding partner at Azora and CEO of Hispania, for her commitment to residential leasing and her successful rental housing management model; Juan Antonio Gómez-Pintado, president of the employers' associations Asprima and APCE and the developer Vía Célere, for his crucial contribution to improving the real estate sector; and architect Rafael de la Hoz, for his brilliant career and contribution to residential architecture.
