ILUNION TECNOLOGÍA Y ACCESIBILIDAD has acknowledged Neinor Homes' commitment to universal accessibility and attention to disability during an awards ceremony that has brought together about 40 companies, institutions and various administrations.

The event has honoured the work of the property developer to promote initiatives and projects aimed at facilitating accessibility and quality of life of people undergoing problems or situations that hinder their mobility.

Such recognition underlines Neinor Homes Mobility Pack's contribution to the welfare of this population segment, as a service that is supported by ILUNION TECNOLOGÍA Y ACCESIBILIDAD and allows the company's customers with reduced mobility to customise their homes and adapt them to ensure maximum comfort.

Lucas Galan, Neinor Homes' Director of Product and Innovation, accepted the award. In actual fact, the initiative and development of this service is promoted by Neinor Lab—the company's innovation platform headed by Mr Galan which, as he explains, comprises several rotating teams of employees. In this way, the whole company works together to draw new ideas and services that contribute to the transformation of the sector.

This home personalisation pack focuses on three core aspects: architectural design, technology and equipment.

As regards architectural design, the Mobility Pack endeavours to ensure that home accessibility features consider and guarantee personal usability, autonomy, comfort and safety beyond the user's capacities. It further strives to comply with applicable and binding architectural design regulations.

In terms of technology, the Mobility Pack identifies, selects and implements existing home automation solutions that can improve the quality and usability of the homes for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Furthermore, the pack aims to define existing support elements and products to equip the homes and reinforce the adequate and safe use of the various rooms by the elderly and people with reduced mobility.

This way, the pack will cover all areas and spaces in the home—from access (door and hallway features) to the design of corridors, kitchens, toilets, bathrooms, bedrooms and rooms, living rooms, and terraces.

In addition, the service will study in detail furniture solutions, support products and other technological systems that can be included in the homes in order to improve personal autonomy and safety.
